Re: Peace.

While you are at it look for his marbles, for they seem to have gone missing as well. lol british humor. Tomi has been teaching me how to do it. Sort of like his funny joke to Yabruf.

However I don't want to over look a point Yabruf made that had some truth to it. Why do we hang on to a man-made vision of what Jesus looks like? The same can go for heaven as well. I think we love to visualize things we treasure. The things we can't see. However, we don't want to idolize the image, for if we do that's then Faith is ruined. For you know we don't know what Jesus really looks like anymore than we know the exact date He was born. It has to do with Faith. Faith in who He is and what He has done and what He is now doing.

And what He is now doing right now is building a place for us to come live with Him for eternity. It's called heaven. The great city, the New Jerusalem.

Rev 21:1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.

Isaiah 52:1
Awake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; For the uncircumcised and the unclean Will no longer come into you.

Isaiah 61:10
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Galatians 4:26
But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.

Hebrews 11:10
For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

Hebrews 11:16
Instead, they were longing for a better country, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

Hebrews 12:22
Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to myriads of angels

Revelation 3:12
The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name.

Revelation 11:2
But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.

Revelation 19:7
Let us rejoice and celebrate and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready.

Revelation 21:9
Then one of the seven angels with the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."
