That aside, even cheap zappers can be very effective in reducing the extent of colds and the flu. There is a limitation though. A zapper can not undo the effects that have already been incurred. While it can effectively incapacitate or destroy many microbes, if they have already caused cellular damage or produced a lot of toxins, the zapper can not undo those. It can only stop further progression when it is properly used.

To effectively and completely stop a cold or the flu, it is important that the zapper be used immediately at the very first symptom and must be immediately followed up if another symptom appears.
