Distilled water for eye wash (dr. Christopher's Eye Bright). Why do I read on the web that distilled water is harmful for the eyes ??

Hi everyone,

I just received my bottle of eye bright (dr. Christopher) in the mail and I've been looking to start using it for my eyes.

However, I read everywhere that I should use distilled water for the eye wash. I have bought a bottle of distilled water, but I am not sure anymore if I should use it.

I've done some research on the web and there are numerous posts saying that distilled water is not good for the eyes. There is even one person claiming that it will suck minerals out of the eyes and potentially harm the cells of the eyes (because it takes out moist).

Because of my eye problems, I've become very careful and I really need some opinions of the safety of using distilled water for the eye wash. Also, are there any alternatives ?

Thanks,
Alex
