Please Help: Jaundice, skin rashes & itching

My husband started feeling "off" about a month ago,  lost appetite,  within days his skin started itching. Within a week he also had skin rashes.  When homeopathic allergy products did not work we consulted our family Dr. who prescribed Benadryl. When he started to turn yellow and his stool was light grey and urin very dark we realized there was a liver problem and stopped the Benadryl. Subsequent blood tests showed elevated bilirubin levels. No hepatitis. X - rays, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI were all negative. It is now 4 weeks later, my husband can barely sleep, his skin is so super sensitive that he spends day and night in front of the fireplace covered only with a light cotton sheet. He gets occasional heat flashes when his skin feels like it is on fire, and uncontollable scratch attacks.

I started preparing vegetarian meals and lots of salads with sprouts,  2 fresh pressed glasses of carrot and beet juice a day, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar in water throughout the day, as well as tea from chanca piedra and dandelion. A glass of bentonite clay and psylliam in morning and night. Ionic foot bath treatments twice a week. Clay whole body wraps every 3rd day which he finds extremely soothing, only while wrapped up though. Two days ago he started taking black radish juice and dandelion juice, also milk thistle and quercetin and phospatydil choline. He is still deteriorating. Off course we are not sure what the root cause is.

For temporary external relief he takes a bath with oat flower every 4 hours. I then rub a mix of almond and coconut oil, aloe vera gel,  and E.O. of peppermint, tea trea, lemon, chamomile all over his skin.  This he follows with a tea tree  spray, Benadryl cream ( his idea) and whatever else he gets his hands on that he hopes to cool him down.

We have done numerous liver / gallbladder flushes before, the last one in June. Is it possible that something got stuck then to obstruct the bile ducts that only became symptomatic 4 months later ? He has no pain whatsoever in the liver / gallbladder region. But it has been suggested that the pattern of jaundice he displays is that of obstructive jaundice. We are both afraid that a liver / gallbladder flush at this point may be more damaging than helpful, particularly the oil component may place too much a burden on the liver. Don't see a problems with the lemon part and the epsom salts part, but this does not make a flush....  ?

Our other thinking is that he may be contaminated with solvents because he has been exoposed to furniture strippers for several years, and also been receiving IV DMPS and EDTA chelation treatments, but Dr. s don't agree with this theory.

I am posting this in the hopes that someone here has been in a similar situation or knows someone with similar symptons and may be able to offer some insight. Dr is now suggesting an ERCP, hubby does not like the idea but running out of options.

Someone else suggested a coffee enema which he has never done before. I suppose this may help cleanse the liver, but is not going to deal with blockage? The other suggestion was osteopathic treatments, but we are not sure if they can remove blockage?

Your help will be very much appreciated!
