Re: Onward to Day 7
So glad you're liking it better! It's hard to limit yourself to lemonade; even harder when you don't like it! When I get tired of the lemonade, I switch to limes for a day or two. Sometimes I even go half and half (2 limes, 1 lemon).
Day 6 was good for me until about 7pm. I suddenly felt extremely nauseous. I couldn't even drink my tea last night. I went straight to bed and slept all night. I feel fine this morning, but no BM. I need to get a good flush, but I didn't set the alarm when I went to bed early, and now there's no time. I'll be in my car most of the day, so I'll do a good flush tomorrow, and get my tea in early tonight.
I'm looking forward to being on week 2 tomorrow. I have dropped 15
pounds total (including the few I lost the week before), and hope to lose another 15 before I stop fasting. My tongue is still white, but I can brush it back to pink (for about an hour) and I'm struggling to keep my breath acceptable as I work with the public. I haven't had any extreme back/hip/leg pain yet, but I know that will come in week 2 or 3. I'm hoping to be able to take a few days off when it hits, so I can push through this time. I know that part of me really needs cleansing/healing, and it usually hurts while the bad tissue is being broken down. My shoulder hurt SO bad last time, but the calcium deposits must have been "worked on" because my range of motion improved, and the pain frequency dropped considerably. It's back now, so I'm expecting that to get some attention at some point.
I've personally felt the benefits of the cleanse (besides weight loss), and when I get tempted to give up, I just reflect on these and keep going. We can do it, and we're worth it!
