Re: Dr. Wilson Nutritional balancing program

The diets both of you describe sound very similar to mine. I wasn't a drinker so didn't have to give up alcohol and was already gluten free. I definitely eat more cooked veggies which I enjoy and always have. It just takes time and energy to cook them. On days that I feel lousy, the energy isn't there for cooking so I cook in big batches when I do cook. Tonight I did a zucchini/onion stir fry and steamed cauliflower with a salmon salad and a lentil salad. That will last my husband and myself at least 2 more days.

I can't remember why Wilson restricts soups, but I ignore it, too. During winter months I made huge pots of veggie soups usually with chicken sausage added. So flavorful and loaded with good things!! I've stopped feeling "guilty" over not following every one of his rules. Just find them to be too many.
