How long does it take Mirena Hormones to leave body.

I had my Mirena inserted a few years ago. My daughter was born end of Jauary and I got Mirena end of March. I kept it in for almost three years. Just recently had it removed. My husband and I are trying to have a baby but I'm not sure how long it takes the hormones to leave your body. On top of that, I've been spotting. It's like a watery cycle if that helps. He and I are trying but I don't know how long it takes.
