I'm glad you have found a cure to your folliculitis. I too have been dealing with this issue on the back of my scalp for two years now.
Because of your success I have taken it upon myself to search for a local acupuncturist in my area and hopefully speak with them about my issue and use your story to show how it worked for you. Now I don't know if this may work for me but I really don't want to become reliant on Antibiotics to "treat" the condition, I want to be cured of this! My current status doesn't seem to be as severe as yours as i can sleep on head, i dont get large pustules, the follicles mainly seem inflamed and itch a little every now and then, however because of this, I do have a small raised scar on the back of my head which I try to cover up with my hair. It's a stressfull process to always feel like someone's looking at the back of your head but luckily my hair is dark and covers everything up to be almost unnoticeable. It seems you do not log in here very often since you've been cured but I'm hoping sometime you'll come by and read my message. Thank you for sharing your story and giving me some hope that there is a way to beat this!
