Re: colloidal silver
RE: Barwick seems to think it has the potential to happen if you abuse any kind of CS...
Argyria is a rather fascinating condition in that it is far more common than is often perceived. ie, the blueish discoloration following long term exposure to silver jewelry for example. - contact Argyria
That said, I would agree on the notion that Argyria is not bound to any particular form of silver. Which seems supported by the fact that the condition has been associated with various forms and exposure; inhaling and handling of silver metal(or powder), as well as the ingestion of compounds(proteins, ionic, etc).
More notably however, the constant in this appears to be that of quantity over time. That is to say, that the conditions leading to the condition appears consistent in that the overall exposure must exceed the bodies capacity to excrete the metals over a given amount of time. That is to say, quantity /body-weight /time, type thing. Of which, the conditions associated with what we'd now call, common
Colloidal Silver solutions would seem rather extreme for most.
One example of this would be an individual that I've become friends with who developed Argyria over the course of six years, by taking a homemade
Colloidal Silver , three to four times per day, every day. To which I'd add, the tops of his hands and certain areas of his face had become grey(rather than blue).
That said, what's even more interesting is that the condition appeared to come and go based on the amount of
Colloidal Silver he was taking(yes, he is still taking it). However, I'm happy to say, that he was able to completely recovery(cure himself) from the condition, thanks to a topical use of CDS and DMSO, coupled with a three month course of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . To which I'd add, he has since fully recovered and was able to return to his daily regiment of CS - thus regaining wellness from the condition that he was initially treating to begin with.
And so, in spite of the controversy, I'd say that the prognosis is very good, even under extreme circumstances. Though I'd add that I would not extend this view to other forms of silver solutions such as proteins or chemically altered solutions, as the condition parameters may not respond to the above mentioned treatment.
That said, the solution(which I reproduced) that was taken for over six years, measure at approximately 22ppm and was made using nothing but distilled water and pure silver.
- hope this helps
