I live in the UK and I first had the Mirena fitted to, hopefully, help with the pain from endametriosis. I stuck it for a few weeks. It helped a little with the pain relief but the side effects were too much to take and i had it removed. I experienced all of what you have experienced. I was never told, by my GP, what side effects it could cause. Then I experienced the crash and this made me feel worse and my pain got worse. So foolishly, I had another inserted. I once again had the same symptoms but my mood swings got worse. I begun to get more snappy and irritable and as I have a 3 1/2 year old son, this worried me. He is my world, my pride and joy and the thought that I was becoming irritable made me, once again, have the Mirena removed. It was also not helping much with my pain. I am now trying to cope with another Mirena crash. I feel spaced out, anxious and have spells of dizziness. I have heard about certain supplements that can be taken, to help with the crash, but they are all very expensive and I question that they may just be a rip off. Also it seems to be difficult to obtain the supplements in the UK.
