Re: Candida is the cause, what is the cure?

ecaccutane, sorry I don't have any pictures I took when I had ec, even though I had it for over a decade. I don't want to post any now pictures either but trust me I have beautiful lips now that are very healthy. when I did have this they would really only be inflamed after the crusts came off, usually by force, otherwise they would weld on to my lips. my diet is really good for the last year vegetables, salads, chicken, fish, steak, potatoes etc. and I also started taking omega 3 fish oil almost everyday. I got ec from obsessive lip licking and biting. I had a ocd disorder where I thought I had to lick my lips even despite of the webpages saying not too. so I licked for many years but I also tried many different things mostly just leaving them alone and avoiding water or liquids touching them, eating carefully not smiling all trying to heal the scabs. they are not scabs by the way. I finally decided I would stop licking my lips and biting them and the first thing I did was hydrate them with water a lot throughout the day, I almost became obsessed with hydrating my lips and drinking water. Vaseline, lip balms and coconut oil actually don't contain water so they dont hydrate the lips even though they say they moisturize. what they do is seal in the moisture so it doesn't dry out too fast. so hydrate your lips by soaking them in water, you can do this by simply drinking glasses of water and getting the water on your lips or going to the sink and cupping water in your hands then soaking your lips for 30 seconds or you can soak your lips in the shower for 5 minutes and be sure to take off any dead skin that comes off gently and easily because after you do it wont ever come back if you keep hydrating them a lot. the only product I recommend is burts bees lip balm the flavored kind cherry, mango, strawberry etc. I use the mango flavor. the ingrediants are really good and its the best thing ive ever put on my lips. here are the ingrediants. sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, beeswax, castor oil, mango seed butter, lanolin, soybean oil and canola oil. after you soak your lips good like I said, seal in the water(moisture) with the lip balm. do this a lot throughout the day and you should get better really quickly.
