It is totally automated - just touch the start button to GO.

However it is fantastic because it gives you a voltmeter to watch voltage to the electrodes and a milliameter to watch the current to the electrodes. NO OTHER generator does this. You also have total control over the current flowing into the electrodes. You set the current low to make nano sized silver. Or raise the current if you want for speed. Or you can set the current to the size of your electrodes as suggested by the manual. They also tell you how to convert your ionic silver into true Colloidal Silver .

Watch that video carelully to see the voltmeter & ammeter. It is also the only generator to give you a progress bar so you get an idea of how much time is left to finish the batch.
