You really shouldn't go too far with the sugar. Regular alcohol is fine in moderation (in my experience) but sugary drinks aren't.
What happens when you take anti-candida supplements while simultaneously feeding the candida through food or liquid consumption is that you're letting the candida not only grow back but also grow resistant to the things you're taking, which ultimately will cause problems later on. I say just do things in moderation, but as soon as you start noticing symptoms I'd stop.
