Good post PM - one thing worth considering is Isopathics which is similar to homeopathics but different. There is an isopathic remedy for blasto, Desbio Amoeba is one of them. These are inexpensive.

There are reports of caprylic and monolauric acid killing it off as well. For me, eradication has come from a combination of a shotgun approach. Tweet
