Some people do not get the extreme itchiness. Some people can have no symptoms at all and still be infested. Add pinworms to the list of sexually transmitted diseases. You need to treat everyone in your household and all sex partners.
Reese's pinworm medication is available over the counter in most drug stores. The directions say to take it once. The CDC says to repeat after 2 weeks.
Search the forum for other posts. Pinworms are really common and there are numerous posts about them.
It is also fairly common to have multiple parasite infestations at once. So keep cleansing. Sift thru your stool with a plastic fork.
