Albendazole n other deworming treatment for infant

Does albendazole kill worm eggs? I swear I remember reading on the internet years back that this is one medicine that kills worm eggs as well unlike the others. But now I cannot find this information anymore.

Also has anyone heard of an anti-worm medicine called Lumbricina? I can't find any information on this drug nowhere on the internet.

Is there anything that can be given to a 5 months old for deworming? The doctor here gave me albendazole and said to give him in smaller amounts. I can't rely on the doctors here in this 3rd world country where I am at the moment. I have a totally different information. And on the box of Albendazole it says should not be given to kids under the age of 2, period.
