Re: Working while on the MC

I worked full time while I did my first master cleanse with no problems. I also started on a Friday like a previous poster, the first day is not that hard, except for the hunger, spaciness doens't really factor in until later, if at all. Some people actually get energized and focused during the cleanse. I personally found myself up and down. Sometimes I was more clear and energized, sometimes spacey or grouchy. The weirdest thing was sometimes my vision seemed to be a bit blurry, like i couldn't fully focus my eyes. This went away after the cleanse. I never had really nasty detox symptoms but I did consistantly drink water.

In my opinion its actually easier to do the cleanse while working. It takes your mind off the whole not eating issue, which for me was the hardest part. I struggled the most on the weekends when I didn't participate in my usual social activities (which were all centered around eating and drinking) and I didn't have anything to distract myself through the long days. By the way, it is very helpful to read this forum, or other healthy sites or books at these times as they can greatly boost your motivation as well as provide distration.

I concur with the other posters advice to make sure you are consistant with your lemonade drinks. If you are consistant from the start with the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) then you will figure out your required timing pretty quickly. I needed about an hour and then I was all clear. At first I gave myself some extra time since I have a 45 minute commute into work and didn't want to get stuck. After about 4 days I had it down pat.
