Good thing that you are fasting. Please follow some of the rules of fasting and you will do fine, rest, stay warm and drink warm water.
Take one day at a time. 40 day fasting is a huge goal, especially when you do not have much experience with it. First few days are the hardest, stick to it and it will get easier. Make sure you do not even chew gum, you want to stay in Ketosis and let your body feed on fat and scar tissue and other junk that is stored for years.
Fasting should not be used only for weight loss. There are other means of losing weight. After the fast one thing will help you lose weight is to stay on raw plant based foods, no junk and processed foods, no sugars of any kind, no breads, pasta etc.
Also walk 20 minutes a day for good circulation.
After refeeding for a month on plant based foods, do a colon cleanse,
kidney cleanse and then liver flush. You will feel new, focused and strong.
