I believe Lugol's Iodine can heal the lips. It healed my lips as well, but only while I applied it directly on the raw parts of my lip. However, it was drying to my lips so I needed to also apply a silicone scar patch on my lips overnight. I wondered if the liquid Iodine would also heal my lips if I ingested it. See, I didn't know if the Iodine was only working because it dried up raw areas of my lip. So, this is good to hear.

Did you use iodine with potassium or plain iodine?

I was wondering if your thryoid blood tests were normal because mine were. Tweet
