Fixing Dopamine Transporter molecule or Reward Pathway in Brain?

Hi all,

I am curious if anyone had any problems with the DAT (Dopamine Transporter molecule) that transports dopamine across the brain. Or in general, if anyone had any success with fixing the Dopamine Reward Pathway in the brain.

It seems like my brain is re-wiring itself to actually seek out stressful thoughts so I was wondering if limiting the amount of Dopamine would help for now until I can get out of this slump. My problem is, I don't feel anything and when I do get some kind of adrenaline or dopamine rush, my thoughts automatically start racing to thoughts outside this world, about religion, evil, Christianity and the meaning of life. It's like my brain is automatically rewiring itself to work against me and this all leads back to the Reward Pathway seeking a "fix" through these thoughts.

Any ideas?

Thanks
