Yah, it does seem easy--it is amazing how they fail to use it right. The biggest issue is they don't follow the protocol for proper usage Dr. Clark outlines, and don't keep all the parasites killed.
They keep allowing them to re-infest and hatch out again, and boom, they're right back in the same boat they were before zapping. So obviously, it isn't as simple as you think it ought to be--even as others fail for the same reason.
