I recommend that you get some pancreatin capsules and take one or two with each protein meal.
I would also recommend that you get some Omega 3 fish oil and maybe some coconut oil and consume immediately before consuming protein. Several desert spoons. Be careful with the coconut oil, be sure to take a pyridoxal 5 phosphate (enzyme activated vit B6) and Tri Methyl Glycine (TMG) as it helps to reduce homocysteine levels. TMG should help to increase energy temporarily.
Using German Chamomile essential oil, getting a 20ml dropper bottle, fill half full with pure water, preferably distilled or boiled and cooled mineral water to purify it. Then fill the dropper bottle half full with the water and then put ONE drop of GC eo in to the water filled dropper bottle. Shake vigorously and then quickly draw up some liquid and put one drop of that into a cup with some warm water. Drink. It can take 1.5 hours to take effect but should provide energy as it rebalances the nervous system raising the bodies energy levels by stimulating the sympathetic nervous system. Tiredness is parasympathic nervous system dominance and this needs to be shifted to a more sympathetic nervous system dominance to improve energy levels.
I would also recommend that you find some a liquid protein drink which can be consumed quickly and easily. You do say that you are intolerant to milk protein. I was intolerant to ALL protein because my digestive system is so permeable. I had tests at a hospital for reaction to common allergies and reacted to everything that I had recently eaten but not to foods that I do not eat. I now eat whey for it's excellent protein quality and with B12 I do not itch.
I have also used concentrated Pea protein and rice protein combination to raise the protein quality but it still does not match whey for quality and quick breakdown. The texture of Pea protein is quite nice and the taste is okay, especially if combined with culinary herbs such as cinnamon, sage, ginger, basil etc Rosemary can help stimulate repair of the nervous system which is usually damaged in CFS.
I too have had my joints cracking and creaking since my teens. I do get very minor joint discomfort but on the whole nothing too bothersome. I can get some pain if I do not take sufficient B12.
You, just like me sound like you might be Methyl group deficient. I noticed that my mood was very poor and that consuming large amounts of methyl groups helped my mood quite a lot. I take Methylsulfonylmethane MSM approx 5-8ml at a time. It is important to take molybdenum along with it to deal with the sulfur. There are other sources of methyl groups which might be worth using such as 5 methyltetrahydrofolate & methylcobalamin, but quantities of methyl groups are very low in comparison with MSM. I must be very deficient of methyl groups because I find fairly large quantities of MSM to benefit me and markedly improve my mood.
BTW I know the cause of it all but so far I have been unable to defeat it due to lack of availability of the required things. No one will sell me what I need which is very frustrating.
