My son is six and 50-55 pounds. When he was real little I gave him these chocolate flavored DHA gelcaps that he loved but I stopped buying them because they were expensive. He has attempted to swallow pills for me but can't yet.

I have just recently tried fish oil in their oatmeal but no go. I couldn't even stand it. I use to take borage oil for my diabetes but as usual money takes over.

I have been taking my two to a DAN doctor because of a metabolic disorder that both have. Their breath smells like acetone, fingernail polisher remover, if they don't get enough carbs. The oldest has sleep apnea and still wets the bed. When he does, his urine smells like maple syrup. The youngest breath at times smells like corn. I know it's not corn because I don't give them corn because of mold. She has them both on about seven different supplements based on organic urine testing we did. And, I have seen improvements in both sons language and development.

My six year old, homeschooled, has attention problems to the point that I don't think he would do well in school. He does good with me one-on-one but I see the problems when we go to church or are in a group setting. He doesn't have any true friends and kids shy away from him. :(

I bought some flaxseed tonight at the health food store, and I'm going to get a coffee grinder and put it in their yogurt.

My son has allergies and we've taken both off of milk, but they get milk in other products. I don't know much about Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) so I need to check into that.

I agree with the "natural energy of boys" because they mature slower than girls but are expected to act like girls.

I know I jumped around but my mind is racing with thoughts. Sorry. :)
