Re: Black Specs in Stools?

Most people get cadmium poisoning from work.
Soldering and welding releases cadmium into the air.
Which workers breath even with the best exhaust systems. (see OSHA and EPA site about employee exposure)

Just eating something acidic with metal utensils puts some cadmium into the system. Dr. Clark recommended only using plastic utensils but she said that before we knew about all the bad stuff in plastic.

Aluminum has been found to cause Alzheimers but I still see people cooking in AL pans and drinking AL antacids.

There is lead in candle wicks and we breath the fumes. There is cadmium in the fuel oil we use to heat our houses.

I could go one but it is a story of horrors. we live in a polluted soup of things that can kill us.
Even Palmolive dish soap has PCBs. There is no way to avoid contamination. The only thing we can do is learn were the danger is and do our best to avoid it.

Keep in mind that business and making a profit is the primary driver. AL pan manufacturers are not going to stop making them until someone forces them to stop and that won't happen, again, because profit is the primary driver.
