Re: Alinia / Nitazoxanide

You could be right in everything you say.

As an example, I bought nitazoxanide from Mexico last year. After a few days on it, I felt terrible and decided there was poison in the pills. I quit.

About a year later I tried the pills again and they didn't bother me at all--no poison. I should have continued with this med the first time and just worked thru the healing crisis.

There have been times when my urine has smelled terrible and I didn't know why. Are you saying this was the smell of the worms dying?

In general, when I am on a high dose of some meds, the main complaint I have is that I just get so cold. I think this could be because my liver is congested. Does this sound reasonable to you?

Anyway, I am happy for you to be 'nearly' cured. I am actually not far from that point myself. But it's taken me 2-1/2 years of nearly solid meds. Then, too, I have strongyloides so do not expect to ever be cured of that worm. I can live with weekly doses of ivermectin.

I think moxidectin is the best cyst-buster I know of, based on my personal experience. I had a cyst on my hip (1/3" diameter) which no med touched, except moxidectin cleared it up ASAP. Do NOT take more than your weight!! It gave me black stools immediately, though. That made me nervous.

I am also nebulizing Iodine to clear up candida which is helping out a lot. Caprylic acid alone was not enough.

Continue on with your 'experiment' and keep us updated.
