If you used your common sense about religions, you'd have a total 'crisis in faith'. It's not the 'devil' tempting you, it's your higher self and unconscious mind (where a lot of your common sense comes from) screaming no, no, no, no..... They know what a fraud you falling for, and try to stop you.
But the 'elites' turned it into the devil.... *sigh*
