Thanks SHARKMAN. Actually I have thought of that and know from watching the show what the answers would be.

First, no patent. While I have made a number of improvements over the years ( CC technology, 4 point contact - 3 points positive, pedestal offset-better than positive offset, etc ), none of this is practically patent-able. Notice that I said practically. that is because there is always a way around those designs.

That ability to lock up a market with a patent of some kind is of paramount importance.

In addition to that major obstacle is the FDA requirements. No matter how you look at it, the FDA is oppressive to any business model. As bad as the EPA, OSHA, or any other government agency.

After being raided in 2006, I went to several attorneys for consultation and advice, including 2 former FDA prosecutors. I inquired about the possibility of FDA approval and there response was "Do not bother, the FDA knows that this technology works and the pharmaceutical industry DOES NOT want it". "No matter how convincing the studies are, it will never be approved because it would upset the financial apple-cart".

The FDA is literally paid by the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, the FDA is directly subject to the whims and will of the pharmaceutical industry. It is extremely corrupt.

An example of this is a thing called the "Device Tax". In order to keep the use of devices in check, the FDA asked Congress to pass a Device tax so that any medical device would have a heavy financial burden. This is one part of Obama Care.

The advice of those 2 former FDA prosecutors was to keep under the radar as much as possible by selling for other purposes and let people make their own decisions as to how to use.

As a result on the site where ParaZapper is sold, there is NO discussion of what the zappers can be used for other than killing microbes in water as a research tool.

However, all that aside, going on the SharkTank would be an excellent publicity tool. The problem is that I could not say anything on that show that I can not say here. I would have to have at least one of my attorneys with me and that would cost a fortune.

Anyone who invested would just have to be a true believer like I was in 2001 when I mortgaged my house to start the business. I did it, not so much to make money because I am a computer systems programmer and a design engineer who makes good money for my skills. I did it because I knew that it could help a lot of people and I knew that it was being suppressed.
