Re: On Cravings
I decide to stop eating raw tofu. Raw carrots are also a little too sweet, which might lead to cravings. Raw cauliflower will never be addicting, because it's like the blandest thing. I am just too lazy to get it out of the bag and wash it. I will try harder this time to only eat cauliflower. It's like the only vegetable that's not sweet. Even raw
Celery is a little sweet. But no matter what, no raw tofu for me.
I read somewhere that said that research shows cravings do go away, so you can just wait it out. I will time it on my phone to see how long the craving is each time. But you know what? I think it already went away this time, but just the thought of going back to my textbook reading triggers the craving again. Not sure why. Well, I do have to study for school and do my homework, so I can't just not read. That was the reason I ate in the first place today. I was able to come back for like 16 minutes, and cravings hit again. Maybe the reading is stressful? But it never happens at school. Or maybe it's classical conditioning that made me learn to associate food with reading at home. How to make it dissociate? This sucks. I seriously need to study. I feel like the answer to this problem is really smart and deals with advanced psychology. Well, this is such a headache.
Well, I am going to go ahead with Plan A, stop eating raw tofu. What should Plan B be? We will worry about that when we have stopped craving for raw tofu.
