I believe pooping is priority on fasts, otherwise you re-absorb toxins your body is sending to the colon.
I do salt water flushes to move my colon if it isn't moving by itself.
Fasting is a great time to starve parasites, but your colon has to be squeeky clean so they have no anaerobic areas to live, and no rotten food to eat.
I find that usually by day 5 of a fast, I end up passing parasites.
I think that may be the longest they can go without food (the ones I've had anyway...)
