Re: Doctor says these aren't parasites - WTH are they then?

I'm not sure exactly how I was diagnosed with that, I'd have to look back at my medical records to see. A doctor had been doing a lot of tests on me that summer, because I had a relapsing fever all summer and we were trying to figure out why. It turns out I had cat scratch fever. However, in the process of testing he was testing me for everything and just happened to discover that both my mother and I had the strongyloides parasite, even though neither of us had any of the risk factors or any of the symptoms, for that matter. How long have you had yours? What do you do for it?
