That happened to me also, the runny nose. However, as an added bonus I also developed a spell of chronic sneezing, almost one right after the other, which lasted about three hours. I stopped the Iodine for a couple days, until curiousity got the best of me....

I did not get a cold sore, but had I gotten one I would have probably took 10 grams vit. c twice a day. Tweet
