Sprouts should be eaten daily, in any event (although I need to become better about keeping that in my routine). Sprouts have important electrolytic/activation properties....
Mung, Masoor Dal, Garbanzo beans, and wheat grains can all be sprouted. The wheatgrass craze is a subset of this.
Make sure it is the whole masoor with the outer skin. The split ones are not living, of course, and cannot sprout.
