Hmmmmmmm honestly.. i only did a salt push once and it felt horrible... i thought i m gonna faint....
i do add a lot of salt to my food though (yea sure thats not the same as a push... at least not like a push on an empty stomach)... if food is in the stomach anyways then imo its not much different...
but i ve also never had bad detox reactions. So i never felt the need for a salt push.
i ve actualy had supeer itchy legs BEFORE i started Iodine and it went away after a couples of months.
My lab kidney levels r fine... (but no idea if that would really indicate healthy kidneys)... my liver levels r fine too.
i eat plantbased so that alone is pretty good for liver and kidney itself. but sure... high amounts of Iodine have to be processed by kidney, liver etc as well and that might be tough for some ppl.
