My nutritionist recommended this. Everyone always says it is the vitamin A. But that may only be part of the picture. According to the Book The Truth About Beauty, the author suggests that the phospholipids in the egg yolk repair the SEBUM LAYER of your skin which is damaged by chlorinated water, cleansers and Acne products. I have adult Acne and was really scared to try it but I have a delicate health condition and can no longer put anything on my face that I would not actually EAT (no joke, my body is really sensitive). I am using it once a week and my skin is looking better I will try to remember to report back here. I also only wash with water, "tone" with spring water on a cotton pad, and finish with a linoleic acid oil such as hemp or grapeseed oil (no vitamin E added) this also helps clear my pores (Linoleic acid oils make sebum more "flowy" and less sticky.
