My liver congestion got so bad that I couldn't digest anything except raw foods. I would highly recommend trying a few days or a week of raw vegan recipes. No milk or animal products. The reason for this is that raw fruits, vegetables contain enzymes that basically do all the digesting for you - they also move through the intestines at twice the rate of cooked food so are great for constipation and cleaning out the colon. A congested and constipated system will put further burden on the liver as toxins recirculate from the colon into the liver and bloodstream. The rash you mention sounds like what I had. Mine went away 90% when I removed gluten from my diet. I think there is a connection with the liver and gluten... Not quite sure what it is but I'd highly recommend cutting out all gluten as well. If you can shift towards reducing or eliminating flour and bread that will be great for your digestion. Try the raw foods with coconut products, and soaked nuts and seeds as well. Coconut oil doesn't require bile to be digested so will be easier for your system to absorb. Check out some recipes and give it a try.
