There are theoretical links between low Zn and hair loss. There is also the possible issue of heavy metals competing with Zn.

Low thyroid can cause hair loss. Iodine is required to make thyroid hormone. Don't rely on just TSH test for thyroid! Include at least Free T3.

Learn about DHT. That might be more of an issue with male pattern baldness, but I think a few females can get it as well.
