How does one know if their intestinal tract is sufficiently clean?

Obviously, it makes sense to detox the colon before doing other detoxes or fasting.

But how does one know if their colon is sufficiently clean?

Before my first fast, I did 2 weeks of Psyllium + Bentonite mixture, twice a day. But whether that did anything or not, I am not sure. I have never done an enema or colonic, and until recently did not even know what those were or why one would do them.

I have never had any mucous removed either, despite two fasts. I don't know if I have any.

So how does one know if they have a sufficiently clean tract to proceed to other steps of detoxing or fasting?
