When Ascaris die or give birth, or you get Lung throat GERD, time to pull out the DEC and Invermectin. I sometimes use piperazine citrate as well, about a tablespoon (750 mg). The closer you come to winning, the more often they burst or give birth. If you break out in a sweat, have that spinning feeling, or just dont feel right, a worm gave birth. This is more of an art than it is a science. If you miss killing them in 24 hours, Albendazole and DEC will get them in about 3 days. The process is slow but worth it. I try to take only one standard dose 250ucg/kg per day.

Most people get confused with dosing, so I use the Durvet 1.87% paste tube, with a spinning wheel weight dial. Dial in your weight in pounds, then press the plunger.
