Re: Depressing state

It sounds like you have alot of pressure from family and up until now have been able to meet their expectations and succeed at a very high level, but now that you are feeling low and your grades are slipping you fear you won't have their support, or approval, is this true?

One of the things I thought reading your message - is to take a year off from your studies, and either work or travel. Maybe you are just very tired and run down. Being in 3rd year of med school, you've probably been overscheduled and worked and studied at a very high level for a protacted period of time. No human can keep this up without a break.

Its probably the worlds best kept secret, but medical students and medical professionals and nurses are so over sheduled and over worked that they often feel like you do; but because there is such a high expectation for performance, its kept secret.

So anyway, glad you've posted here and hopefully you can make some connections. Maybe too you might be able to take a break after this year is finished?

all the best
