Re: Diflucan seems to work for my candida

I would also be interested to know of peoples' experiences with diflucan. I was feeling a lot better but then got a really bad ear infection which made me feel horrible again. I finally decided to try diflucan(generic version-fluconazole)for six weeks as so many sites suggest. I am now on day 5 and feel terrible. The pain in my ear has gone but my ears are still itching which means the fungus is still there. When I tried diflucan before, my fungal load was way too high and I just couldn't tolerate it. I'm managing now but still feel awful...don't know whether to stick with it and hope for the best or to ditch it and return to the natural stuff which has helped me but seems unable to actually cure me. I hope someone can chime in here with experience or advice. Unfortunately, I can't get hold of nystatin where I live. Anyway, I wish you all the best and hope diflucan continues to work for you.
