Re: Questions On ICU's Protocol

The answer to the comparison between us and the horses who are treated is this.....

The horse can't tell anyone if there is still some wriggling.

People worm their horses regularly. They do not expect to "cure" them of parasites.

Their goal is mainly to "manage" them.

I personally never bothered with taking extra fat with Albendazole.

I guess your decision on whether to do so could be based on this question.

Do you have parasites in the fatty tissues of your body?

If you do, the added fat in a meal will carry the Albendazole with it and lay it down in the fatty tissues.

If you don't, I feel it's worth a trial with no added fat. You will know within 48 hours.

If you get a Herx or die-off symptoms such as oozing from the skin or red/purple marks then you know it has reached where they are located.

These marks indicate rotting bodies. I have skin parasites so they showed up with me. Another user had the whole back of her head turn purple as this was the mothership area for her.

I strongly suggest taking heed of having anti-nausea tablets and Benadryl at hand before you start. I also strongly recommend Doxycycline which is available online through aquarium fish suppliers on eBay. Yes, it's the same stuff.

Best wishes
