Water Fasting Excess Bile

Hi all,

I Water Fast twice each year usually for 21 days each time. During my current fast (day 10) I noticed an increase of bile in my stomach and a sour taste in my mouth. I had my gallbladder removed via emergency surgery about 6 years ago. The surgeon told me that I would have weak acid dripping into my stomach for the rest of my life. I'm wondering if this is the case because I've never felt this way on a water fast. Why now? Although weight loss isn't my primary reason for Water Fasting I've already lost 27 lbs. My goal is to become a healthy vegan. I gave up meat and dairy over 20 years ago due to severe reactions. I found myself drilling through a bag of chips, drinking pop, and eating a lot of frozen vegan meals. My hope is that this "hard reset" helps me get on the right track. So, to recap what is going on with my stomach and should I stop this fast. As I'm writing this I can feel the acid making its way up my throat. Yuck.
