Re: advice

Hi Donna,

Usually, Potassium deficiency does not occur very easily in a fast. It means that your pre-fast diet must be inadequate.

Do you have any other health issues?
If you have high BP, or any other cardiac issues, Depression and fatigue then Potassium levels can drop.

Before you start another fast you should have full mineral analysis done just to be sure that you are not malnourished.

A good thing that you are a Vegan which should help you with your next fast. However, I would prepare for month or more before you start your next fast. Eat wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

If during the fast you experience and cramps, chest pains, fatigue or stomach issues, I suggest you end your fast immediately and get your vitals checked again. I do not know how long you plan to fast, but short intermittent fasts may be more beneficial to you without the worry.

Meanwhile treat your hamstring with Castor oil rubs and warm compresses.

Feel better.
