New Glasses That Suck
My husband and I just both got new glasses at the same time, and there seems to be a big change in the way that plastic lenses are made, and we both hate the new lenses. It's so bad we are both wearing our old glasses most of the time. The new lenses actually hurt to wear. We've had the prescriptions double checked, that's not the issue. We both hate progressive lenses, have bifocals because progressive lenses suck worse than bifocals. We have a friend who is an optician who told us- hang on to these, they are changing the way lenses are made when he did our last pair of glasses. He's now quit the business or I'd ask him.
So what is going on with glasses lenses, has anyone else run into this, and what are the solutions?
I am pushing 66, hubby is 62, we both have cataracts that are really early stage, I can't seem to find much information other than the new lenses seem to be designed to make you more dependent on using glasses, and need to be replaced more often.
Any thoughts would be welcome....
