You can add some fiber to your meals as well. Like any kind of grain, but important that it is grinded well. Like a teaspoon or two. Also olive oil before eating (on the salad or on the soup). Flax seeds are good too, but make sure you soak them overnight in water and then take 1-2 spoons in the morning with your meal. Flax seeds on their own, not grinded or not soaked cannot be digested so they will just come straight out :)
For an actual constipation, you can try laghu prakshalana
