Just a couple weeks ago my girl friend passed something identical to this, except that it appeared to be attached to a piece of liver or something like that when it came out. Dissecting the liver-like meat substance revealed small white dots that appeared to be eggs of some sort...or at least that is what I assumed. She has Lyme symptoms, but no official diagnosis as of yet. She has had symptoms for about 7 years, but even since she had a neck injury around 5 years old she has had troubles thinking and staying focused. I think she may have contracted Lyme from her mom in vitro, as her 19 year old brother is having similar issues but on the extremely mild side. I wonder what the connection between the parasites and the Borrelia B. bacteria is. Are they one and the same? Or is the large parasite simply a co-infection picked up due to low immune system? Perhaps it is an extremely common parasite, but normally healthy individuals have no problem fighting it off. I'll try to post pictures if/when I can get them from her (if she doesn't mind).
