Re: Swelling from Iodine usage
Mg-Taurate is a bit of a double-boon' cuz it transports the amino acid right where it's needed, and can't be pulled apart by unhealthy digestive flora.
Mg Citrate creates probs for folk with candiasis in the gut, the citrate molecule can potentially feed candida colonies.
Your reactions to the
Iodine indicates you have had some success breaking down infections (of that sort), so proceed as you normally do on Mg Citrate (waste not want not!).
Make sure to rotate the nights you do melatonin to avoid building an artificial tolerance (1 every 3-4 nights is ideal). Meat in the morning is an ideal way to up your naturally-produced seretonin levels.
I find zink-methionine (l-optizink) to be the gentlest on me. Paired with copper chelate or copper secabate is going to be very important because you're taking plenty of C (C speeds the body's use of copper, manganese and chromium).
I'm enjoying the benefits of higher b1 intake myself, been a good reaction to 100mg after each meal. I was showing deficiency signs before I started it.
Chlorella provides a lot of minerals, you may be covering yourself decently from that angle.
If you switch to Mg Taurate, remember that the absorbtion of Mg Taurate/L-threonate is porportionally higher than on Mg oxide and Mg citrate.
Cheers on the oil puling, I hope you'll find it a pleasant experience! I don't feel quite right if I don't start the day with a good pull right after I wake up. It gets the gunk outta yer mouth better than listerine. x3
