Thank you for your reply. According to the HTMA consultant I am seeing, a Na/Mg ratio above a 6 indicates high adrenal output. With mine being a 6.25, that would place me in the high cortisol group which conflicts with the low cortisol reading of the saliva adrenal panel.
It made me wonder, if two people both have an Na/Mg ratio of a 6 lets say, but one has an Na:Mg of 12:2, and another has a Na:Mg of 36:6, does that not matter? Even though the one with the 12:2 clearly has much lower individual levels of the minerals than the one with the 36:6.
