Wasn't called that when I had it done back in 86. My arms went numb and the MDs solution was experimental brain surgery..
One morning with especially bad numbness I went for a walk and a guy was sweeping up some autumn leaves in front of a Chiropractor office. So we got talking, turns out he invented a machine using a UBC grant that can calculate how off center your body mass is due to Atlas misalignment..
Hopped on the machine and he told me I was a candidate, all he required was $140 for special X-Rays.. Paid the man, took the x-rays, went across the street to IHOP while he developed the film (real film high silver content).. went in for the adjustment then home and all numbness was gone.
It did however cost a bit of money over the next coupe of years since things continually needed to be readjusted.. until I found Kundalini Yoga then he never saw me again...
