Short, legit sources to educate friend about WF?
Hi all,
I am staying at my friend's house. She is a good friend and I hoped to be able to fast here, but it seems that she is a little uncomfortable with me fasting and for some reason this is getting to me psychologically and I can't get a fast going - a part of me does not want her to disapprove of me or look down on me. I know these are my own psychological issues and I should get over them and address them assertively, but I feel insecure and this insecurity is messing with my ability to fast even though right now I need to fast due to liver spot + kidney inflammation/ the uti that never goes away, even after a 10d course of
Antibiotics .
There was a link to this article in a thread below
https://www.nutritionalresearch.org/sites/ntr.civicactions.net/files/research/autoimmune-waterfasting.pdf
and this gave me the idea to find other wf resources aimed for a mainstream audience that I can use when I broach the subject with my friend. I wanted to discus my choices with her straightforwardly and ask for her support, but for some reason I don't believe my assurances that I have done my research and I know what I am doing will be taken seriously (she is of the gymming preserve-lean-mass-at-all-costs "eat everything in moderation" school and thinks I am bound to fail, I am hurting myself, etc.)
Can anyone suggest other resources on wf that I can give her to read? Obviously succinct and peer-reviewed is better as I don't think it's realistic to expect of her to read the entire soil and health library. I am watching the Dr Schulze youtube vids now, but I think these are too long for what I need, too.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
